I have a B.A. in history (what, did you think it would be physics?) from the College of William and Mary. I've also taken copywriting courses at the School of Visual Concepts in Seattle and I have a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Washington.

In one form or another I've been doing communications-related work for nearly 15 years. Highlights include two years as an English teacher in Japan, about five years at Amazon.com, in the U.S. and U.K., and four years in public relations.
