Dr. Robert Pensa has long been interested in the intricacies of the human mind. In 1987, Dr. Pensa earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. From there, Dr. Robert Pensa attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), earning his M.A. in Clinical Psychology in 1990. Dr. Pensa went on to earn his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from NSU three years later. Directly after graduating, Dr. Robert Pensa opened his own practice, Pensa Therapy. A general outpatient practice, Pensa Therapy provided expert psychological evaluations, testing, and individual and family therapy. A trusted name in the psychological field, Dr. Robert Pensa was a frequent guest speaker at local hospitals, colleges, and other schools. Additionally, Dr. Pensa has performed witness evaluations and testimony for over 100 legal cases in the past 5 years alone. Currently, Dr. Robert Pensa works fulltime as a professional consultant. Dr. Pensa specializes in sports-related consulting, which he has practiced since 1994. Possessing a wide-ranging knowledge of motivational tactics and teambuilding, Dr. Robert Pensa has worked with individual athletes and teams from the NCAA, PGA, LPGA, MLS, MLB, and NFL. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Robert Pensa is highly active in his local community. Dr. Pensa is involved in youth sports and the Special Olympics, as well as donates generously to charitable organizations such as the Catholic Charities Foundation and Goodwill. Dr. Robert Pensa, a lifelong sports enthusiast, lists soccer, volleyball, and golf among his favorite activities.
