I'm a people photographer - mainly weddings and lifestyle portraits - who strives to create images that are emotional and full of passion. People hire me because they are looking for something different and want a photographer who thrives on the energy that comes from throwing the rules out the window and focusing on what it takes to make the perfect picture. I've been known to wade waist deep in cold water, climb on top of jungle gyms, lay on the ground, or sit in the mud to get the image as I see it - but I find the responses to the resulting picutres more than make up for a few minutes of discomfort.

I seem to have a knack for getting even the shyest/stiffest/most self concious person to relax and have a good time during a portrait session. This often results in creating photographs that they are amazed I was able to take...making people look their best and see themselves in a new way is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

I'm always looking to meet other people in the wedding industry - I find my brides really appreciate my abilty to help point them in the right direction for other good vendors.

I recently moved into the area and am looking for a few high school juniors to be class reps at schools in the Seattle/Mercer Island/Bellevue/Issaquah area for their senior year.

I'm also working to expand the intimate section of my portrait work to include tasteful (but hot) photographs of couples - as well as shoot more of these sessions with individuals. I just love the way these sessions make people feel attractive and good about themselves!

As a second generation photographer I am mostly self (and family) taught - I've had a camera in my hand since I was 4 and have always loved photographing people...

Photography is in my blood and I feel like I have one of the best jobs on the planet. I started assisting at weddings my parents shot in 1995, ultimately ran their business for a few years, got bored with their more traidtional style of wedding photography and went out full time on my own in the fall of 2006.
