Leading a team of six fellow scientists, Dr. Wainhaus' work at Schering-Plough Research Institute draws upon his many years of scientific drug metabolism study. Dr. Wainhaus focuses his research on the area of MS/MS for pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiling. Aside from his lab work with the Schering-Plough Research Institute, Dr. Wainhaus has participated in numerous scientific papers. His published scientific work covers a diverse range of subjects, such as using UPLC-MS/MS to better understand exploratory drug metabolism, high throughput hyphenated MS techniques for pharmaceuticals, ultra fast liquid chromatography, and the discovery of novel orally active ureido NPY Y5 receptor antagonists.
