  "Color is scary!" That's what I used to say before I hired Sara. I spent 4 years with white walls because it was so daunting to choose paint colors. In our Color Consultation, Sara removed the mystique and made the process fun. She taught me a slew of tips for making the right choice and helped me really engage color in a new way. I am so happy with my beautiful wall colors and feel much more equipped to take the plunge into the paint next time!   As soon as I had Sara over to my house for a design consultation, amazing things started to happen! In a little over an hour, she had worked her way through all my rooms and came up with a list of simple things I could easily do to turn my bare-bones condo into a more hip and comfortable home. An example of this was when I showed her a picture I liked in a magazine of a bedroom with a stack of funky suitcases next to the bed as a nightstand. She thought it was a great idea and suggested I give it a go. Within a week I was in an antique shop buying three vintage suitcases - all for under $50 - that would work perfectly!   Sara is fantastic! My husband and I are remodeling an old 1920s house and have been "discussing" colors for both the exterior and the interior for months. We were on the same general page, but couldn't really agree on anything, so we always found excuses not to get started. Enter Sara - she took the time to really look at our house and listen to our vision of what we wanted it to be. She then worked with us to tweak our color selections so that they went together and were the coordinated palatte we were envisioning. She left us with a list of paint colors to go purchase and a new found excitment for painting. She knows her stuff!   [less]
