No Haiku but my two quotes from my father were
"If you're going to New York, Don't get off in Chicago"
and
"you can't steer a ship in port"
and lastly, one I didn't share was
"get you hands out of your pockets, you can't make any money that way"
I probably didn't share that one because I can't seem to break the habit yet. Maybe one day........Scott

I think Bellingham will show itself to be a strong Biznik community as a melting pot of great people, great ideas and great effort. In ways, we have already done that. Thank you for your efforts in this collective, collaborative community.

Yes, negotiations through the experience of most people, is wrought with the thought of conflict, arguing, yelling and storming out of the room to make a point. A master negotiator can be calm and collected and even enjoy the process once he or she understands the components, strategies, and nuances of negotiation. It doesn't have to be painful. It just takes a little change in attitude and understanding to........Well, get'r done.
