What Scott does
At the start, supporting local retail in Bellingham, WA online revealed a many obstacles that kept business owners from connecting to shoppers with social media: it was always a lack of time, resources or knowledge.
The solution is Maple Street: a hyper-local, focused and relevant social media site, whether you're a brick and mortar or strictly online. With a regular vlog, discussions, and Twitter impressions at 150k per month according to http://tweetreach.com/reach?q=MapleSt, Maple Street is doing the heavy lifting of advocating local businesses online with content and conversation.
It's our answer to shops wondering how they can connect, and to shoppers asking "What's the deal here?"
