Facebook Parallels
First off I have to admit that I am not currently a big user of the biznik site. Not because it isn't a great site with lots of great people but because it just doesn't fit into my life right now. You see, I'm not quite out there on my own yet. I'm getting closer but I don't yet consider myself an entrepreneur. Okay, with that caveat out of the way, I'd just like to make an observation.
With the latest changes made to the profile page biznik is looking more and more (and behaving more and more) like facebook. I'm a recent myspace to facebook convert myself, but I admit that I really like the facebook site and think it is a very powerful social networking platform. I think the way they have structured the site with third-party applications is brilliant.
Since there already exist some parallels between biznik and facebook, what would the biznik team think about developing an application for facebook? Take a look at the iLike application for an example of how an existing social networking site has integrated with facebook.
With the social networking clout of facebook I think biznik could really come to dominate the business networking space and possibly even conquer linkedin!
