What Sean does

I am a writer/director/essayist and award winning documentary filmmaker ("playing with RAGE") with a 15-year career in sports journalism. I was awarded an Emmy (Best Sports Documentary Series) for producing two of HBO's boxing documentary series, "Legendary Nights".

I am currently in post-production on a film about Heisman Trophy winning Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams. I began shooting this project at his request, four years ago, shortly after he retired from football.

I have a committed group of associates, who are extremely talented and are in the process of forming a creative collective ("Madicinal Media").

What Sean does best

Writing and social commentary is the core of my ability and what I do best. I continually challenge myself to expand my skillset and grow as a visual artist, poet and storyteller. After nearly a decade of writing and producing features for sports television, I spent time as an independent filmmaker and began to shoot my own films, with the goal of inspiring others.

What does Sean need?

I need to allign myself with other creatives who are visonary thinkers with a social conscience and committed to inspiring people through thought-provoking and intelligent media.

Specifically, I need a mentor, who has a strong business acumen in the television and film industry.

Education

Bachelors degree (B.A.) in Broacast Journalism from Boston University. I have my Masters from the School of Hard Knocks in sports television.

Experience

My spoken-word poetry essays have appeared on ESPN (Sunday Night Football, X-Games, SportsCenter), where I was Emmy nominated for Best Writing.

My sports commentaries have aired on ESPN Classic, FOX, ABC, NBC, CNN, USA Network and most recently, a twelve-part series for NFL Networks 2007, "Who Wants it More" campaign.
