The 401k plans I provide are efficient and transparent. Efficient means I diversify investments at the asset class level and transparent because I fully disclose all fees for my service (I'm sure you can easily believe, this is extremely rare in the financial services industry).

Diverisfying at the asset class level is important because noble prize winning research shows that over 90% of portfolio performance is determined by asset allocation decisions. These decisions are normally not considered in most investment policy statements (IPS), if a client even has an IPS. As a fiduciary investment advisor I take complete responsibility for providing client's the best opportunity to achieve their goals while reducing risk.

The only way client's can know I provide value is if I fully disclose my fees. I don't work like other investment advisors or financial institutions, I detail exactly what client's pay upfront and on an ongoing basis quarterly.
