I am currently looking for some interesting new web/multimedia projects.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland, with a double major in computer science and majors in electrical engineering and maths. I have also taken postgrad studies in Information Systems Engineering at the Uni of Reading in the UK for 1 year, and Mechatronics Engineering at UQ for 1 year.

I am also a qualified personal trainer with a Master Trainer Certificate in Fitness Management and Exercise Science.

I started programming computers at age 9, and have programmed computers commercially for about 17 years altogether. I have also worked in sales, marketing and management for 2 years, computer drafting (AutoCAD) for 1.5, and at various times been a computer technician, systems administrator, sales manager of a retail computer store, and a lecturer in computing topics.

I started programming BASIC around 1980, Pascal about 1986, C++ about 1988, HTML about 1995, ASP and JavaScript from about 1999, Java from about 2001, and PHP and CSS from 2002.

I have developed commercial software and multimedia for all kinds of platforms and media: DOS, Windows, Unix, Linux, web, mobile phone and TV, using many different technologies, including VB, Foxpro, C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET, Delphi, SMIL, CFML, SQL Server, Oracle, Access, Drumbeat, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, CorelDraw, Premier and SolidWorks, plus the ones I've already mentioned above.

Over the past 20 years I have served a wide range of industries as a computer expert, including construction, mining, health, engineering, financial services, tourism, music and video production, real estate, property management, weddings, geological and environmental services, computer hardware, and more. I have worked as a professional programmer in Australia, the Netherlands, Ireland and the UK.
