I was born Shawn Jeremiah Broadnax, July 9 1979. Middle child of 3... any middle kids out there? Well needless to say I was the independent rebel from the day my younger sister was born! I remember always hating the idea of being regular, I always wanted to stand out in the crowd and be noticed. I've always liked taking on my own responsibilites, I rarely ask for help.

In high school I was a "C" kid. Definently not the brightest light on the Christmas tree! Thankfully, I found out early on in life that my strength was not in my abilities as an individual but, in my ability to lead others. I have been able to help so many people "jumpstart" their dreams. Its why I live this life.

Since I was a teenager, people always wanted to pay me to do something for them. So when I was 16 years old I started my first company with my best friend Cedric Lyles. The company was called S&C Sound Company. At the time I was totally in to audio engineering, and for some reason people would always ask me could I come do sound for thier events. So I started a company that could do just that. We had to be the hardest working 16 year old on earth... However, we loved to blow money on friends and girls!

At age 27 I have owned 14 companies. (Check out my pics to see different pictures of companies that I current own) Some were huge successes and sold off, and some where huge failures and bankrupted. Regarless of the outcome, I have seen the results of hard work and perseverance, and I have seen the results of quitters. To this day I have had the pleasure of consulting over 40 different start up companies. Some are on the multi million status today, and some are no longer in business.

The success of a company is totally depending on who is running it. My advice to anyone thinking of starting a company is, if you cannot handle stress and pressure, or if you cannot persevere for at least 2 years... YOU DONT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES! --- Don't quit your day job!

What I have now done is developed the company Xiecom, LLC. What I have done with this is partnered with two of the mega cellular providers (Sprint/Nextel and T-mobile) to provide sales and marketing support of their products. What does this mean to anyone reading this? ---Nothing... unless you're wondering how you can make your first million by tapping in to a $118 billion dollar industry!
