  • Online Luxury Baby and New Mom Gift business FOR SALE!!!

(I am hoping this is the place to post - it's not technically a 'special' or 'promotion' so if I am mistaken, please someone let me know!) That being said:

I am the owner of a beautiful little online luxury baby gift boutique. I have had a ton of health issues lately (just got out of my fourth surgery in two months!) and have another company I am launching, so it's time to say 'goodbye.' The company can be easily run from your home, so it is perfect for a stay-at-home parent, a retiree, or as a second job.

We have had great press reviews (including L.A. Pregnancy and 425 Magazine!), a well-loved/always remembered/TRADEMARKED company name, a new three year contract with AMAZON.com, custom-made customer gift packaging, an incredible and beautiful website, rights to sales motivating photos (see below for four of them!), and high-end (i.e. organic Eqyptian cotton clothing, chenille and silk blankets) merchandise ready for sale.

I have been too sick to nurture this gem of a company. All you need is time, and the honest desire to succeed, mix it with a little cash (of course!) and some elbow grease and YOUR new company will be off and running.

This may be a good fit for someone who:

    1. Wants to work from home
    2. Is looking for a GREAT investment
    3. Has a day job and wants to build up their own business
    4. Wants a company in it's early stages that can easily be transformed to fit your personal vision
    5. Strives to have an innovative company that is ready to go from DAY ONE without the time, research, and stress it takes to build a start-up.

We ask that you only reply if you are seriously considering this type of venture and HAVE or CAN QUALIFY for funding. Unfortunatley, we had a potential buyer that ended up not being able to qualify for a loan and the deal fell through.

AGAIN - this is a START-UP with ALL the componants. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE OR CAN EASILY GET FINANCING!!

    Thank you for your interest!

p.s. I have several active Biznikers that can 'vouch' for the business if needed.

    Cheers!

    Shelly

  • Where to post a business for sale?

    Hello everyone,

I am looking to sell one of my businesses and don't know where to start! I have posted on Craigslist (with some responses) but that's about it. Are there free sites out there that people actually refer to when they are looking to buy a business?

If it helps to narrow things down for you, the business is my online luxury baby and new Mom gift boutique. It is perfect for a stay-at-home mom or perhaps a grandparent to run out of their home. Perhaps there are avenues that cater to that type of business I should be looking at?

    I appreciate the help!

  • WANTED: Awesome organic SEO for a Flash website OFFERING: Handmade organic lotions/potions and/or beautiful luxury baby gifts

    Hi fellow Biznik friend!

Recently, my nephew created a new website for my even newer organic skincare line. It looks great in Flash, but I have no idea how to apply my limited SEO knowledge to it! I have been able to have some success with getting my other HTML based company ranked organically with Google, etc. but I am under the impression that a Flash site is done totally different. I don't have much to offer, but I do have some amazing organic skincare products that are incredibly gentle and incredibly effective. Can you say 'treat myself/girlfriend/wife?' or how about 'VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT?' Yes, it is around the corner.

Anyway, shoot me a line! Let me know what you can offer, what you are looking for, and what your sign is. (Last one is optional - making sure you were paying attention.)

    Thanks!

  • Trademark question

    I have two questions:

    1. If I sell my company (it already has a trademarked name) would the new owner get the trademark, would it just be dissolved, or would I own it?

    2. If I decide to just close the company, and someone is interested in using my business name for their company, can I sell the name? Can I then sell the trademark, or . . .?

Thanks in advance! The 'selling' concept is a new one for where business is concerned!!

  • In need of a commercial kitchen to rent - any ideas???

    Hi everyone,

I am going to need to rent space in a commercial kitchen one to three times a month for a day at a time to formulate my organic skincare line. Does anyone know of any kitchens that are available? The closer to Bellevue/Issaquah the better.

    Thanks!

  • HELP! I am developing a new skincare line - what SCENTS do you like, please???

I need to know what scents you love most in lotions/body/bath products. I am developing my own line of baby and new Mom lotions and potions and need YOUR HELP!

Seriously - what do you like to use for yourself and what do you like for your baby? Lavender? Vanilla? Citrus? Floral? A Blend of these? Something totally different?

Also, if you have ever been pregnant - what did you love to smell and what did you hate?

    Thanks Biznik (ers)!

  • I am looking for your 'pregnancy/labor/baby stories' please! DADS TOO!

    Hi everyone,

I have decided to add an area to my online baby and new Mom gift boutique for Moms and Dads to share their stories about pregnancy, labor, and right afterward. We will call it 'The Baby Diaries.' Basically I am hoping to get people talking about their experiences so that others can either learn something new, not feel so alone, of maybe even be less fearful about the whole life changing situation.

If any of you would please e-mail me at shelly@mysrbb.com with your story and permission to post it on the site, I would be very grateful. If you don't have kids, but know someone who does, please pass on my information.

You can check the site out at: http://www.myspoiledrottenbaby.com

    Thanks Biznik(ers)!

  • Can you teach me Dreamweaver 8?

    Hi guys,

I am looking for some Dreamweaver 8 training. Nothing too complicated - just want to be able to make some changes to my website on my own. I have looked into some group classes, but $499-$1000 a class is a bit too steep for me :-)

Don't worry, I am not too computer challenged, so it shouldn't be too frustrating for you!

    Thanks!
