Sherri Schultz
Editor and writer
Words with Grace

What Sherri does
I edit and proofread the written word in all its forms: books, reports, brochures, articles, websites, ads, and much more. I work with clients across the country, including individual authors, consultants, and designers; businesses of all sizes; nonprofit organizations; and book publishers, newspapers, and magazines.
I also believe in building community. I'm the proud founder of the Northwest Independent Editors Guild (www.edsguild.org), a 12-year-old professional network for freelance editors with more than two hundred members. I also serve on the advisory board of the University of Washington's Editing Certificate Program and am the community relations chair for the University Mound Ladies Home(www.ladieshome.org), a 125-year-old residence providing gracious, affordable assisted living for older women of modest means.
What Sherri does best
I specialize in editing nonfiction books and in writing and editing marcom for nonprofit organizations. I've written web content (ladieshome.org, edsguild.org); crafted reports and brochures; and written feature articles and editorials.
What does Sherri need?
As an editor with more than years of experience, I'm happy to talk with anyone who wants their written words to be perfect. I'm also always interested in new writing projects.
