Thank you for all your comments. This article was meant to say that there are great things coming from this announcement.
Whenever there is an entire community of developers (not just Facebook) creating new ways for us to interface with a community of over 200,000,000 people, that can only result in a better, more useful tools for us as individuals and business owners.
This entire community of software developers will now be creating ways that we can better access our fans, understand them, segment them and then better fulfill their needs. It will be easier for us to communicate, easier for us to connect, easier for us to get more details about what they are looking for and thus easier for us to provide value, build relationships and our brands.
The actual tools themselves are TBD, but coming soon.
A big example of new innovations for Facebook to come is how TweetDeck let's you control your interface with Twitter. They created channels for certain types and categories of followers. This breaks down the one main Twitter designed interface that has all users clumped together in chronological order, allowing us to now get much more value out of Twitter because we can now better see and follow what is happening with the people we want to pay attention to most.
So be patient. There will be a slew of new tools coming our way soon.

Great article and valuable resource to know that there are ways that the law can help working moms. My take-away is that these working moms have choices based on the law for how to handle discrimination matters. And that is good!

I love the article, and especially the part about examining your intention. Most often our intention is to make sure somebody else knows about us or what we do in order to get a sale.
I think you put it well, help others move forward. If we did that over and over again, then is when the favor starts to come back your way.
In social media, this is a concept that cannot be forgotten, and it applies to everything we do for business.

Video is an incredibly important part of telling your story, and one of the best social media action steps that you can take. Search engines love multi-media content, and they love video the most. There is so much that you can do with video online...your website is one of the most important places, but there's a ton more opportunity even beyond that. Great job in stimulating the interest! You nailed it. Our services are the means to helping our clients, not the end benefit. It is what our products and services do for people that they cannot do for themselves. And those unmet needs always have an emotional foundation that is most meaningful and engaging to them. It's the ultimate answer to "What's in it for me?" If you can attache your brand to that, just as you urge us to do in your article, you will be the only choice for prospects!
