  • What is your definition of "Passion"?

As part of our Passions and Possibilities Project and its new integrated blog/website launching on Sept. 1st, we are collecting definitions of "passion" from bold, talented entrepreneurs who have leaped big time into their dreams, aka "Passioneers" (sm). Please share your definition in a brief, 2-3 sentence format, along with your full name, title, and website link. With your permission, we'll include your quote and contact info.

Our intention is to share these definitions with others who are making their own leap, and feeling scared or discouraged, especially in these tough economic times. Thanks so much for sharing your passion with us!

    Here's mine:

"Passion is the burning desire to express fully my life's purpose -- why I'm here. It's the fire in my belly that won't let me sleep when a new idea is coming forth and won't let me quit when the going gets tough."

  • Leaping into Your Passions Fully? Send Us Your Brief Videos!

We're seeking many videos (2-3 mins. long) of bold, talented individuals who are fully expressing their passions and possibilities now. Why? To inspire others who haven't yet made the leap, especially if they're scared or discouraged. We'll collage the videos into The Passions and Possibilities Project blog, as well as other social media channels whenever possible, including BizNik. It's a great way to share your insights with others AND market yourselves. Also seeking video and audio production specialists - we need your help!

    Basic video requirements:

Timing: First come, first served (no later than March 31st).

    Length: 2 - 3 mins maximum

    Format:
YouTube-compatible format (i.e., .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG transferred from most digital devices.) If you don't think your current video file format is recognized by YouTube, try converting to MPEG4 video with MP3 audio). Contact us with questions.

    Content:
Please answer the following questions during your video (BE CREATIVE - e.g, videos of you doing/being your passions; share a symbol/token of it; NO boring, talking heads!).

    (1) What are your passions and how are you expressing them fully now? (2) What challenges do you face in expressing them; how are you overcoming them? (3) What's your experience of prosperity in following your passions (as you define it)? (4) Words of advice/guidance for others making the leap? (5) How do viewers contact you?

Movie rating: PG13 or lower (check it out).

Thanks so much for considering this request!

  • Filled with Passion & Possibilities? I want to interview you!

I'm collecting inspirational stories and videos of individuals who have left mediocre lives to pursue their dreams. If you know of anyone, including yourself, who has simply GONE FOR IT, in any area of life, then I want to interview you/them for possible inclusion in a radio program, video, other publications. If you wish, I'll mask your identity and create an anecdote or, with your permission, include details and your contact/business information (Great for business!)

I'm doing this as a research project to better understand the difference between those who DO and those who DON'T make that big leap of faith into their bliss. And to share the results with others who are on the brink. Each of us has a powerful story I'm sure!

Send your interest or the name of another person of passions & possibilities to me here or ssoliver21@comcast.net. And please share a snippet/appetizer here if you wish, especially the challenges you've faced and how you overcame them.

As for me, I recently left a high-paying corporate America job to pursue my dream of being a life coach. The security of a great paycheck and a large-company structure had been a lure...until the call to serve others in life coaching took over..and the realities of mergers/takeovers/cut-backs sunk in. I've run a small biz a few times in the past, but always seemed to coax myself back to the corporate life. This time, I’ve cut the umbilical cord and am flying free for GOOD! Can anyone relate? Thanks!

  • Any Puget Sound Health & Fitness Bizniks?

I'm a wellness & lifestyle coach (and personal trainer) in the Seattle region and would love to tap into a referral network of holistic practitioners (e.g., massage therapists, accupuncturists, personal trainers, counselors, etc.,) to whom I can refer my clients. We live in such a health-oriented area, don't we?

Let's start to connect and build an awesome referral network to support our clients in experiencing true health & vitality! DESPITE external events.

    Best wishes,

    SueZ
