What Susan does

Susan is working at present as a model for film and print generally serving the senior market. Susan is also with the global relocation firm Going-there as their Seattle destination consultant. She finds homes or apartments, schools and services for corporate transferees relocating to Seattle from abroad. Since moving to Seattle in 2006 she has trained as a home staging professional and opened her new business. Her Home Staging company, Stage Right Now LLC, is dedicated to presenting your property so it sells in the least amount of time for the highest price possible. Working with the realtor, builder or the seller we can create a price structure that will fit your budget. We will make your home the most desirable within it's price range. A free bid will get you a binding contract to Stage your house , usually within the week. Time is money and we are very responsive to that challenge. A Staging Consultation will give you the information you need to "Stage" your own home or we can use your furniture and additional inventory of ours to attain the best showing possible.

Susan's alter ego, Shoshana Gold, first started making ketubot in 1982 when she took the first Hebrew Calligraphy and gold leaf illumination classes offered by Parsons School of Design. She then became the resident Hebrew calligrapher for the Jewish Quarter in White Plains, NY. from 1986 to 1988 In 1989 she opened her own Judaic Arts Store, Shoshana Judaic Arts and Crafts in New City, New York where she not only sold her own work, but became a distributor for many Israeli artists working with and developing new texts on lithographs for sale in the US. She sold her gallery in 1994 and moved to Ann Arbor, MI where she returned to studio work while representing her Israeli group of artists to retailers across the country. She returned to New York and did her own calligraphy as well as doing the ketubah work for the Jewish Museum. She brought with her a huge selection of unique ketubot which has just been put on sale at a substantial price reduction at Tree Of Life in Seattle where she will be giving a talk on March 1st at 11 am.on the Ketubot, it's origins and new resurgence as a modern artform. She will be available for questions after her talk. Susan has worked with galleries, Judaica stores and museums throughout her 25 year career as well as with hundreds of individual couples who wish to create an original artwork for their wedding.

What Susan does best

I change constantly, come to think of it I haven't had the same job for more than 7 years, ever! Usually I last about 3 or 4 until I think I've achieved some level of proficiency, then it's onto the next thing to learn. I like and thrive on movement and change. I dance Argentinean tango, a squeezebox and violin give me goose bumps, it's a dance requiring a degree of perfection. I dance anything and everything else with much abandon. I sing, not well, but comfort myself with the fact that what I lack in talent I make up for with enthusiasm. I love movies and watch the Academy Awards every year with a bottle of champagne which i drink when my pick wins, I am a very good picker and generally get stupified!
