What Susan does

I provide personal chef services, teach cooking classes, and make wedding cakes.

Classes: Many people like to cook, but feel dependent on recipes, overwhelmed by the possibility of failure, and afraid to experiment. In this 'hands-on' class we learn to cook using all our senses...touch, sound, scent, sight, and intuition...as well as taste. The focus is on lightening up, finding our flow, and having fun. We cook, we laugh, drink a little wine, and learn a lot. With sensual cooking, there is no failure!

Then the lesson turns into a dinner party, as we sit down to share the food we've prepared, tell stories, and get to know each other on a whole new level.

Personal Chef Service: For those who don't have time to cook, or just don't like to, I do the cooking for them. It's a pleasure for me to prepare food that people enjoy and that is good for them. Since the year 2000, I have helped numerous clients save time, lose weight, and relax into a balanced and healthy lifestyle, simply by having dinner ready for them when they got home from work.

Wedding Cakes: I enjoy building fancy cakes.

What Susan does best

I find my 'flow' and enlightenment through food and the senses... I help others do the same.

What does Susan need?

A place to give classes. I have been doing them in friends' homes, and they've been so well received that I'm looking for a venue which will allow me to offer them more often.

What's needed is a kitchen with counter-space enough for 10-12 students to do hands-on work, and a dining area with table or tables large enough for all of us to sit down to share our meal. I need 2 gas ranges or cooktops/ovens, a large refrigerator, freezer; storage space for my equipment, pantry items and tableware.

If anybody knows of a space like this, I'd love to hear about it...Thanks!
