Thank you for sharing from your perspective! Really good to know.
Thanks Terry! I need this training.
Huge thanks to Laila, Stephani and David for hosting this event. Even after being at it all day, you all brought an amazing amount of energy and focus to the group.
Hearing other entrepreneurs share what matters most and why they do what they do is powerful. I'm inspired to dig into this process and to share authentically. Not just for the video...this is everyday marketing at its best!
Thanks Ksenia! Love hearing your perspective on the three things to take advantage of video. Great advice.
Your work is brilliant...I've always been a big fan of yours. Btw, I've enjoyed the animated marketing videos you share on Twitter - keep em coming.
Great article Miles. With sites like Facebook gaining in importance and reach, this is timely information.
Another way to think about it is to have an account in at least one of every major category of service (which most of been addressed in this article), such as Twitter for microblogging, YouTube for video sharing, Delicious for links, Last.fm for music, Flickr for images, Digg for news and Facebook for a profile.
It can seem overwhelming to maintain so many profiles, but using a lifestreaming tool such as FriendFeed will make it more efficient.
Do you recommend linking all your accounts to your blog and personal site and using the blog RSS feeds?
Thanks for all the great questions and discussions that followed.
Good idea about setting up video broadcast for the next one.
Tami
Thanks Naomi. Your explanation is clear, easy to understand and useful. I'm sure people new to Twitter will appreciate the How To's like hashtags and RT's.
Grokking that Twitter is not a site, it's a protocol might help us all understand how to use it and what is appropriate. Twitter's growth is largely because of the "easy to follow" nature...but it is also just as easy to "unfollow" where there's no value.
