As an attorney at Quantum Law, I guide business owners and entrepreneurs through the various stages of the life of a business. My practice includes business formation, purchase and sale agreements, contract drafting and negotiation, leases, joint ventures, employment arrangements (including employment and independent contractor agreements), debt and equity financings, stock option plans, and mergers and acquisitions. I am focused on learning about my clients' needs and working collaboratively with them to find solutions. With over twenty years of legal experience as a paralegal and an attorney, I bring a pragmatic approach to business issues designed to mitigate risk and enhance profitability.

The business owner/entrepreneur who is starting a new venture, seeking to expand or wishing to exit the business will benefit from our services. I represent a variety of small and medium size businesses, including sole proprietorships, limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations, in industries ranging from technology-based businesses to professional services to retail enterprises.

I received my Juris Doctor degree from University of Washington School of Law, where I served as Special Projects Editor for the Washington Law Review. I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky, where I graduated with honors.

Prior to forming Quantum Law, I practiced at the law firms of K&L Gates (previously Preston Gates & Ellis) and at DLA Piper, focusing on corporate and securities law. Before law school, I was a paralegal in Seattle working on corporate and securities matters at Perkins Coie and in the in-house legal departments of Attachmate and Univar.
