    Hello there, fellow Biznikians!

    My name is Thomas J. Brown and I am a PHP/MySQL web developer (and sometime designer) living in Spokane, WA. Like most web designers and developers, I am completely self-taught. Unlike most of my contemporaries, however, I have been doing this since 1995, which means I have almost 15 years of experience in a field that is roughly 15 years old.

    I'm a total geek and get excited when I write elegant code. I have a T-shirt that says, "code poet," which is probably a pretty good description of what I try to do daily.

    I heavily endorse standards and valid code. I strive to create sites that are not only nice to look at, but easy to use – I'm a strong proponent of usability and accessibility.
