I create functional and sculptural art, combining flameworked glass and poured metals. I handcraft each of piece individually, working Pyrex and borosilicate glass over a flame that reaches temperatures up to 4000 degrees.

I continually experiment with new techniques, always exploring the nature of glass and how light is reflected and refracted within it. I capture the fume of gold, silver or platinum within the piece and work with the design to create depth. I aim for clean lines, vibrant colors, organic shapes, and originality.
