Working out with Tyler for the last several months has been a welcome and wonderful surprise. I've been excited to discover a brand new form of movement that integrates a number of disciplines.

I'm discovering new ways to move and delighting in how my body responds to Tyler's program. Flowfitness is like Nia on steroids: think yoga and chi gong meet Capoeira. Anyone who enjoys yoga and dance will love this training!

It is a kick to work with someone so obviously in love with his work. I find Tyler to be incredibly intuitive and adept at finding both weaknesses and strengths -- and he's also great at keeping me motivated with his playful approach. "Exercise" has never been this much fun!

I started working with Tyler 6 weeks ago. Tyler is the first personal trainer I've worked with, so I don't have much to compare him to except my preconceived notion that working with a personal trainer would basically involve someone standing over me barking orders while I did reps of crunches, lunges and bench presses. Working with Tyler has been everything but that!

It goes without saying that the results after only 12 sessions have been amazing - I've got more energy, strength and muscle definition and love it! But I also love that I haven't gotten a single kink in my neck in the last 6 weeks, that my arms and shoulders don't ache after a day on my computer, and that it's not so bloody hard to pull this middle-aged body out of bed in the morning.

But HERE'S THE BEST PART. Working with Tyler is FUN! I hate working out - it's something I view as a chore - and Tyler makes is fun. A pushup is not a pushup b/c it incorporates the circular training piece that means sometimes we do things that kind of feel like pushups from from cool yoga positions. (I love all the yoga we do!) Reps with free weights? - sure we've done that a couple times, but he's also handed me a 12 pound medicine ball and had me lunge across the room, lifting it over my head and repeatedly slamming it into the floor as hard as I can. Now that's stress release.

You've gotta try Tyler. Do yourself a favor and commit to six weeks 2 times a week. At the end of six weeks, you'll do everything you can, even if it's rearranging your personal budget, to make sure you're able to continue working with this guy. He's really that good.

Tyler has a unique, rewarding and all around amazing approach to fitness training. I am extremely pleased with the gains that I have made through training with Tyler, both in strength, fat loss, and flexibility. I recommend Tyler to all my friends when talking about fitness needs. -Stephen

I've been working with Tyler for the past month, and I can assure you that anyone can benefit significantly from his approach to fitness. Using a methodology that encourages your body to respond as a whole, rather than islolating certain muscle groups, I've found the results to be very encouraging!

Tyler has a very interesting approach to strength and flexibility training. I have had a yoga practice for over 12 years and am very excited about what Tyler can teach me. His workouts are enormously fun and liberating.

What can I say? (Wow?!) * Do you want to increase "real," multi-directional strength? * Do you need a change of pace from "pumping iron?" * Are you tired of hurting your joints (and who knows what else!) in the gym? * Do you want to trade in the elliptical machine for some "quality" cardio?

I don't want to limit the people who might go meet Tyler to those who answered yes above, but that was some of my criteria. Thanks to Tyler, I once again move in ways I haven't moved in 20yrs. (Ways that we're all built to move, but lose through inactivity and conventional exercise!) I'm building strength and increasing mobility without being so sore I can't get out of bed the next morning. (He's really made me question the "no pain, no gain" concept!)

The Circular Strength Training and the other programs Tyler implements in his routines are awesome and Tyler is a great coach!

Tyler has a unique method for increasing your strength and flexibility. I definatly recomend giving it a shot if you need new work outs or aren't enamored with your current choices. Art T.
