  • I'm on Facebook, but I have yet to amass enough fans to get a unique user name. (If any of you are willing to fan me, I'd be most appreciative and would happily return the favor! Most of the good names for my biz are taken, but I will find something once I'm eligible.)

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lovebug-Online-Dating-Consultations-by-Virginia-Culler/97575062929?ref=mf --- ugh, so terribly long! I'll be glad when that gets to be more concise. :)

  • I blog, although not as often as I should! I actually have a several different blogs. My online dating consultation practice is here: http://www.loveb.ug/blog, and I have an ill-updated PI reader blog also about online dating at http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/lookingforloveonline/.

My more personal blogs include one beauty blog, http://AllEyesOnHer.com, and a personal/random musings blog at http://virginiaculler.com/blog. For someone with so many domains registered, I don't blog very often, but I'm always trying to change that! :)

  • Such a cool group and a great thread! I'm slow to respond to all things Biznik these days, but better late than never!

I'm Virginia, and I run an online dating consultation service called Lovebug (http://www.loveb.ug). My specialty is helping people put their best foot forward with a customized online ad or profile, and helping them select the right service and refine their techniques to find the right relationship.

Lately I'm so bogged down in planning my own wedding and attending a thousand more that I don't have nearly enough free time for my business OR my Biznik, but I'm hoping that will change as we transition into cold weather and people stop getting hitched. :)

    Great to meet you all!

  • Just remembered, here's a very preliminary link for a survey regarding the singles event that Kate, Amy and I are hoping to host one of these days -- feel free to weigh in if you like! (It may get changed slightly in a couple days.)

  • Ha, poor Liz! At least it netted a client and a good quip. :)

Thanks again for having me and all my opinions today, guys! Next time I'll bring the guy along so you can see the proof in the pudding. And so I'll have someone to keep me quiet so y'all can mingle better.

Hope you all had a great rest of your weekend!

  • This was a terrific event, Stefani -- and you really are the snack queen! So refreshing to get a display of healthy happy food to go with the wholesome vibe of the whole shindig. Looking forward to seeing more events with your name on them! Thanks again and very nicely done. :)

  • Hey guys! I'm not a single Biznicker, but I do run an online dating consulting business, so I live to help singles find love online. :) Any chance you'd be game to let me join your ranks for this and chat off the clock with anyone who wanted to prod me for online advice? I figured it was best to ask first. I used to hate meeting attached people at singles' events!

  • Unexpected overtime at the ole day job means I have to miss this great talk yet again. Looking forward to making it one of these days -- good luck to all the other folks attending!

  • Very cool discussion. :) I'm loveb_ug on Twitter for business-related tweets, I tend to keep a pretty strong separation between my biz tweet persona and my personal one.

I'm still getting used to every social networking medium eventually becoming a marketing tool... on the one hand, I used to hate that since I always start as an entirely social user. But on the other hand, now that I'm marketing my own biz, I see the appeal and I recognize that I need to establish that presence in this biz culture... still learning to find good business-y applications for these new communication methods!

  • This was truly a great event, and I'm sure it'll capture so many great stories. Kudos to Lara and Dan as well as all the volunteers, and all the awesome small biz folks! I'm still glowing from the whole experience, and I can't wait to share that energy with clients. Thanks again!

  • This sounds like such a great idea, but I'm currently still shackled by my day job. I'd love to attend if we wind up having walk-and-talk events that are outside of normal business hours! Good luck and have fun. :)

  • Thanks for this talk -- it was very informative and helpful and MOTIVATING, as well as a great way to feel the group energy behind everyone's idea. A terrific way for me to jump into Biznik events -- you've inspired me to try and teach my own workshop one of these days!
